Makgeolli requires a maturation period after production. It is difficult to take it on a plane (due to pressure explosion), so it should be consumed while staying in the country, and it can be enjoyed 3 days after production. If you have a 4-night, 5-day itinerary, I recommend experiencing it on the 1st or 2nd day of your trip.

The Paju Jangdan Soybean Well-being Maru is a Jangdan bean theme park funded by Paju City and local agricultural cooperatives. It offers a stunning view of the Han River and over 2,000 jars, along with a local food sales area, a Jangdan Soybean specialty restaurant (Korean restaurant), a dessert café, and a cooking experience room.
It is advisable to make a reservation at this affordable yet luxurious Korean restaurant, which is in high demand for government and institutional events.
Stroll through the serene jar courtyard where the soybean paste and soy sauce made from Jeongdan beans are maturing, and spend meaningful time with your loved ones in this healing space.
