Starting at Mangwon Station, located 10 minutes from Hongdae, you can tour around the traditional market and experience Korean cuisine cooking classes at a local home!
Meet at Mangwon Station then visit Mangwon traditional market, where you will be purchasing the fresh ingredients, and eat famous food from Mangwon Market, which was often shown through TV programs. Taste the street foods that are popular with both men and women such as sweet and sour chicken (Dakgangjeong) and Hotteok. Observe the scenery that can only be seen in traditional Korean markets, then visit a local house. Let's cook three main dishes while enjoying an either hot or cold soup. After sampling the Korean food that I cooked and a variety of side dishes, let's take a photo while trying on the traditional Korean mask 'Tal'!

• How to walk from Hongik Univ. Station: Come out from Exit 1and walk straight → Passing L7 Hotel keep walking straight (Approx. 10 minutes) → Walk straight towards Hapjeong Station Exit 9 (Right turn at the intersection) → then passing Exit 9 at Hapjeong Station, walk straight 10 minutes then you will reach Mangwon Station.
1. You will be notified via email if the day you have selected is unavailable due to the situation of the operator. Please make sure to check your email!
2. The meeting point is in front of 'Mangwon Station Exit 2'. If you wish you go straight to the cooking class location, you will miss out on the market tour.
3. You will get to eat a lot of delicious foods during the traditional market tour and cooking class. Therefore recommended to participate with an empty stomach!
4. Please note that the child only over 6 yrs old can participate in the experience.
